|
|
I tried scouring the archives on this one, to no avail...
It could be that there's truly nothing there yet, or it could be the soju fingers...anyways, i'm off to SE Asia in a few weeks, first to Thailand to meet up with my (much) better half, and then a semi-circle tour through Cambodia, Vietnam, Laos and back to Thailand through the north.
I'm taking my digital camera with me, and am wondering how easy it is to burn CDs of photos at PC Bangs (or the local equivalent) along the way...is it do-able? should I bring some of my own CDs?
Also, any advice on places to see, things to do, etc. would be appreciated, of course.
If any of y'all will be down there, let me know and I'll buy you a beer or a j on a beach somewhere...
Thanks in advance... |

In Vietnam, you can get them to make Photo Cd's at just about every photo schop you see. I got them done, they worked great, very happy. Don't know about the other countries, but just buy a 1 or 2GB memory card. |

Go to Namdaemun. I got a 1GB memory card for 15,000 won. Just try all the different camera shops until you find one. |

Just make sure to double check the quality, on another computer, other than the computer used to burn it. We got home and found out that one of our CD's was no good. |

Did it once in Koh Tao, and the returned home to find the damn thing excised 6 of my best shots, then later on, the whole kit 'n' kaboodle stopped working.
Save it until you get home, and for x's sake, be spartan when you're taking pictures. Save your memory stick for truly great shots. |
