So...I am curious about the procedures of the Korean post service. My coworkers had their package opened. Why? Not sure, but they thought maybe because it was so dense with books that they couldn't x-ray it. Do they x-ray every package? Seems like that would take a long time, but I wouldn't put it past them. Any knowledge of the subject? Cheers

Customs has to open x number of packages to justify their jobs- thats wht happened to your co workers, nothing at all to do with the Korean post office.

Sure they do...

I have a package that has been held by them since the 10th...still fighting and appealing their decision...have 6 days left... Evil or Very Mad

They told me they inspect everything with value over $150USD with shipping costs in that figure...

They opened and examined my parcel....if I lose the appeal, it has to go back to China and is then shipped onto Canada at my home address if I am unable to refund....

...no fun at all...
