Would anyone have any advice about getting into Club Rugby, specifically here in Seoul?
I'm by no means a great player, but would love to find a club that is someone what competitive aswell as very social. Do such things exist here? |

Seoul Survivors Rugby 'Club'
No longer sponsored by 3 Alleys.
Go to 'Scrooges Bar' - opposite 3 Alleys on 2nd floor. Almost guaranteed to be somebody there drinking / watching rugby. They have all the Super 14 / six nations / etc games on.
Play mainly 10's tournaments against military sides and the odd korean team. Off to Manilla 10's 25/26 March.
A few games around Seoul coming up in April.
Players / supporters always welcome |

sorry to misdirect you. (slightly)
15's are played whenever possible but because of the dearth of rugby players it is generally acknowledged that it is simpler to field a team of ten so we play much more tens.
some of the military teams will turn up with less players so there is plenty of opportunity to have a run.
The Seoul Survivors will generally field two teams.
Practice is Sunday afternoons at the rugby pitch on the western end of Yeoido island.
google for 'seoul survivors rugby' ( can't remember the web site)
There is a fixture list which involves regional ( mainly expat ) teams from the likes of Shanghai, Beijing, Taiwan, Japan which are 15's games. There is also the odd touring side which come through from Oz or NZ.
Lots of fun.
There is a korean rugby competition ( Korea is ranked 21 in world rugby) but we are not included in that. |

Scrooges Bar has the Super 14 games on via a Sth African Satellite channel.
Otherwise it is on Australian ABC ( via special decoder) |
