Hello,
When extending my contract, I did not get a multiple entry extension and now need the passport stamp...as I'm going to Hong Kong this Saturday for a a short trip. Is it possible to get this done at the airport without much hassle?
Also, does it take long at immigration(daejeon)? ie do they take your passport and send it back to you with the stamp?
I'm new to this...and obviously waited last minute--
thanks-
w

It doesn't take long at all. I've forgotten the exact cost, but I think it's W50,000.

You can do it at the Daejon Immi office or at the airport. I recommend doing it at the regular office just in case there is a line at the airport. (I think travelling is enough of a stress without worrying about that extra detail. But that's me.)

Either way works. Your local office can provide a multi-reentry if thats what you want but the airport only gives singles. Its done on the spot in either case. If youre doing it at the airport, give yourself an extra half hour. Happy travels.

single re-entry is 30,000. multi re-entry is 50,000, but as schwa says, you can't get the latter at the airport.

At Incheon airport you can only get a stamp that allows single re-entry though. It's 30,000 Won. If you want a multiple re-entry stamp, you have to go to a regular immigration office.

The line-up at Incheon wasn't bad both times I went. It was quick and easy.
