So when choosing b/w Taiwan, Korea, Thailand and Japan the local ladies must some how force there way into the equations. I think we all agree Thailand's a given...How about those of you in Korea, Japan, Taiwan tell us a little about your experiences with the local ladies...oh, OK China too.
Is it difficult to get some dating/relationships off the ground here or are foriegners a no go zone like in the mid-east. How does racism prevent inter-cultural coupling?

If you just want to date Asian girls, just go to Japan. If you have a lot of money and want to buy a girl, Thailand will work fine.

My philosophy: unless you look like Brad Pitt, finding a GF isn't easy. It's no easier here than it is back at home. Whatever positives you think are inherent in Korean women also come with their own set of negatives. No matter who you date, it's typically a zero sum gain.

I am replying to this one as a woman surrounded by nothing but foreign men. Some who really just think they're gorgeous. I can't help but wonder sometimes if foreign men get delusions when they come here and find themselves surrounded by Korean women who look exotic and seem maybe mysterious because they speak another language. Suddenly, because foreign men see so many tiny beautiful girls the men start thinking that somehow they're own physical attractiveness has increased from a 6 to a 10. Truth is, I hear nothing but how hard Korean women are to date from many other foreign men who have been here a long time. Truth is, I haven't seen any of them come home with a date (Korean or foreign) despite how great looking and charming they think they are.
One fella I know even went so far as to say that on the weekend (an Australian girl bought him a beer). He emphasized how "big" she was.

Yeah, so, perhaps, you can't get a date because you really don't have a personality and you really aren't Brad Pitt.

If you can't get a date at home, then you probably aren't going to get one here. Enough said.

You are right that many foreign dudes contract the "I'm a stud" virus when they arrive. They then become an endless source of amusement for other foreigners. The OP seems to fall right into that category.
