Very Happy Hi,

I was wondering if any of you guys have used Jun Education as your recruiter before. They seem to be very professional, but I am still wary of Korean recruiters after hearing so many awful stories.

I don't want to end up at a crappy school, working to death, and not get paid!!

Thank you for all your help!!!

The key to dealing with recruiters is to regard them the same way as the classifieds in the paper. Rely on them as a source of info, but don't take their word for it when it comes to the quality of jobs.

Yes, I would recommend using them - Jisu (or Betty, I think is her English name) was very helpful, worked out ALL details for me, was very professional, and did all of the contract negotiations with the school director on my behalf, took care of everything in a fully professional way -- even had me contact her when various reimbursements were made to me by my new school so that the recruitment company knew that it had been taken care of as promised.

However, just because the recruiter is good, it doesn't mean that all of their positions are great -- they did send me to interviews at a few schools that I ran from. When I turned down the contracts though, they always wanted details on why the school wasn't a good place to work, or what the problems were, and didn't in any way pressure me to work there if I didn't want it -- and, unlike a lot of recruiters, they had no problem then referring me on to another position, until I found one I liked.

So, in short, yes JUN Education is fine -- great in fact. BUT, you still have to do your own leg work and check out the school on your own.
