Freakin Hilarious. 95% of K "popstars" have no business being on a stage trying to entertain people. |

The crowd went dead silent. Then they started screaming again. Or maybe the cheering sounds were also a recording?
Despite the mishap, the show went on, and I think you, billybrobby, spoke of Korean tenacity here.

I think they (Koreans) find a certain nobility in desperation.
For example, take the World Baseball Classic. It's the bottom of the 9th, bases *not* loaded, 2 out and 2 strikes. Korea is behind by 6 runs. Basically the worst situation possible. And what do you hear from the stands? Dae-Han-Min-Gook! The Koreans are still cheering! I think Americans would feel silly and desperate doing this, but not the hangookins.

Actually, I've found that it's Korean style to put one really good singer in each all-female group.
For example, in SES, it was Bada (or "Sea").
In Finkle, it was Ok Joo-hyun.
In Jewelry, it's the girl named Pak, the tall one with the impossibly-flat stomach.
Yes, I am lame. |

I'm just glad it wasn't Jo Min-ah, my favorite in that group. |
