Okay so since my thread was removed....On the opposite end of the spectrum....who was the most impressive person you met in Korean that maybe changed your life and your life direction? Before I came to Korea there was one person who gave me a heart to heart and made me change me life practically the next day. What was/is your life chaging moment. Positive. And in Korea.

I met a female doctor in Korea in her early 40s who had done the following in no particular order.

1. Become a ENT surgeon
2. Decided to go back to the start and become a doctor in traditional eastern medicine
3. Decided to study western holistics and homeopathy to have a well rounded knowledge on things
4. Became an expert in yoga and meditation
5. Lived in India while analysing the concepts of ego and soul
6. Trekked in Nepal and Bhutan for long periods
7. Stayed in a temple in Burma for 3 months mediating
8. Travelled to Japan to learn about traditional tea ceremonies
9 Became fluent in Japanese.
10. Became fluent in English.
11. Went to Ireland to learn about Celtic mythology

Probably one of the most interesting people I ever met in any country. Gentle and shy but a very good communicator if engaged in conversation.

Made me feel like I haven't made enough of my life so far.

Wow, I'd love to meet someone like that.

The most impressive person I met was probably me ex gf who had a pretty tough life, but never once complained about it or let it get to her.

Actually I think of her when I catch myself whining about insignificant things.
