Everytime I go to KEB to get a money order I find that I need an actual name of a person. Even if I need to send the money to a company they piss and moan and require a name.

Is there any bank that will let me get money orders to pay my student loans, and do other company related transactions?

Can't you just get a banker's draft?

That's what I do...... but you need a name, too... hmmm...

I paid my student loan via direct debit out of my account, so the banker's draft was always in my name.

I don't suppose this is what you need to hear?

Nope not at all.

meh..

ah well I will try KB bank, and that failing I will hit Woori Bank. I am pretty sure one of the dang places will give me what I want.

and that is already what I suspected. Still it is Korea and luck of the draw rules still do apply.

What about the post office? Can you get a money order there? How much do they ding you to get a money order at the bank Dan?

You know I have no idea about the post office. I am going to take a peak tommorrow to see.

Money orders run me about.. 20,000 won I think. can't remember off the top of my head.
