Anyone remember stuff from yesteryear that used to be really popular but now is totally forgotten (to most)?

Sergio Valente jeans - "I Love You, Sergio!"

Chardon jeans - I Beg Your Chardon

Members Only jackets

LeSportsac (it's making a comeback, I know, but it was so huge when I went to high school)

Odyssey II, Intellivision, Colecovision, Atari 5200 video game systems

Wendy's with Clara Peller - "Where's the Beef?"

Commodore VIC-20 - Pretty pathetic compared to today's computers

Chams Le Baron clothing - "The Chams Man, Makes a Fantasy Real"

Old Fast Food Jingles - "Nobody Can Do It Like McDonald's Can," "Who's Got the Best Darn Burgers in the Whole Wide World, Burger King and I"

Jordache jeans - "The Jordache Look"

Bugle Boy jeans. I thought they were great in high school.

I loved my old Vic-20! I could hook it up to music keyboards, doorbells, circuitboards.. it was indestructible. Try that with a wussy new laptop.

Yeah, SV was second fiddle to Jordache in my JHS; chicks wore Chic or Calvins (gotta admire the marketing genius of Calvin - those other brands are long gone but Calvin's still around). Let's be happy that cut of jean is out of fashion - even at 13 years old, things were a little tight in the groin area.

While we're talking 80's fashion, let's not forget Ocean Pacific, Panama Jack, Japanese language bandanas and t-shirts, Michael Jackson jackets and belts, parachute pants, Z. Cavaricchi (sp?), Topsiders, Polo cologne (another survivor)...

So you think you're bad, with your rap
Well I'll tell ya pilgrim I started the crap
When you were in diapers and wetting the sheets
I was at the Ponderosa rapping to the beat

Also don't forget the number of rap songs using the voice of the late Ronald Reagan, the most of famous of which was Rappin' Ronnie.

And then there was Rappin' Rodney with Rodney Dangerfield.

On DVD are The Captain and Tennille Show and Tony Orlando and Dawn, gosh these bring back memories. I'm waiting for The Donnie and Marie Show (I'm a little bit country, I'm a little bit rock and roll).
