Apparently, "It's on." means that I'm over there to troll, instead of maybe tossing around a few ideas that may challenge some of the guys over there. Or is that what "trolling" is?
I'm not sure, but I guess the broad definition of "trolling" includes;
A. making a few harmless and humorous statements
B. commenting on Korean issues from the perspective of a mature and educated American who has actually lived and is currently living on Korean soil and is directly affected by said issues
To be honest, I'm just happy that I got to make a few posts without seeing "php critical error" messages.
UPDATE:
I've already been banned. Nah-nah-nee-boo-boo.
Sad...so, sad....what will I ever...do... |

Oh, and if you (or any other guys perusing this board) wish to know my real identity...you could have just asked. No need to contact Dave's mods or admins to find out.
I have nothing to hide nor be afraid of. I've said nothing to discredit me, nor the fine and dandy posters of asiasfinest.com.

Like I said, I was banned to for pointing out the irony of the statement (see my second post on this thread) and for calling someone a racist. I guess all the guy said was that 90% of white people aren't worthy of life. They are screwed up over there. You think mods are bad here. And boy they picked the few people with poles up their a$$es to mod. |

I have quite a few Korean-American/Australian friends who have warned me about that site...they won't go near it. Paraphrasing, mind you, not my own words, "They aren't confident, comortable, or cultured enough to fit into either "world", so they've created their own." I thought it was harsh at the time, but now I see the logic in that statement.
I'm just glad that my gyopo and Korean friends are more open minded, and that a few bad apples won't spoil my opinion of Korean folk.
'Nuff said. |

Yep, it's the first thing I thought (also about one poster on this board) when reading stuff there. I quite obviously know that site does not represent most people, as most people are normal. |

The people depicted in those photos looked clean and well-presented, educated, and middle-class. If they had spent time in jail they would have been dressed differently(have seen prisoners in the chinese slum hospital where I did my PH.d study). It looked like "someone" wanted those poor souls out of commision quickly and permanently. May they rest in peace.
The casual comments on that "other" board was really immature/juvenile.... I wonder how they(posters) could prevent themselves from soiling themselves should any type of weopon be pointed at them. |
