Hi everyone, I'm new to this site and just got a job in korea, jeonju. At an ECC franchise school.
I've dont a bit of research but aint found much on that particular school or the city. Anyone got some useful info to help calm my nerves. I'm totally new to this EFL thing. I ain't even done a proper TEFl, just the i-i online one. The contract is pretty good and I fly out tuesday night! |

Just a little thing...
Do not say "aint" in Korea.
Seriously.
Good luck though.
I hope you have a great life.
Also, seriously!

Yeah, there are a bunch of supposed "English teachers" on this board that would love to tear apart a post like that. |

I lived in Jeonju 3 years ago. There's a lot of cultural stuff and great food. I don't know anything about that school.

Re-reading the i-to-i stuff was a bonus for me.
Some very good stuff there, which will help prepare you.
Here's wishing you a great time. |

ECC: the land of 155 classes per month. I guess it's better than Wonderland's 180. |

Okay, so I lied but, I worked there once and I thought it basically sucked for a Korean city. |

I'm living in Jeonju at the moment. I'm heading home for a vacation soon, but I'll be back for another six months afterward.
As far as I know there are two ECC schools in Jeonju. I know people working at both of them, so if you have any specific queries about work/life in Jeonju swing me a pm. |
