I use a broadband internet connection but sometimes instead of websites i want i get: http://guardian.hanaro.com
does anyone have anyidea how to get rid of this?
Can anyone do a betterjob translating this than autotranslation from google?
Can someone who reads and speaks korean help me out?
is there a way to bypass turn off, set the preferences etcetera?? !? |

I don't understand. I don't have hanaro. It just intercepts my websites.
Or at least i don't think I have hanaro.

| call up hanaro and ask them to disable that feature on your account. Basically it's there to protect children from porn etc. |

| Look in "add or remove programs" in your control panel and loof for "netpia". If it is there, remove it. You may also find this in your startup by running 'msconfig'. If it is in your startup, unclick the box and it won't run anymore. Netpia is a redirect program for the convenience of Korean surfers. IMO, it's just a downright pain in the butt. Perhaps hanaro has similar software. It's worth checking out what is running on your system. |
