It's a little similar to a fingerprint I suppose.

Hint: you might be able to tell a bit better by looking at the centre. The forehead and the areas around the edge help too.

Ding ding! That's right - it's a single stroke, starting from the centre. It's The Sudarium, done by Claude Mellan in 1649. A friend showed it to me two years ago; I just remembered it today and was able to find it.

Hmm, I think I'd rather you not kill supreme court judges. Let's keep them alive and stick with cats and abandoned buildings.
