Does anyone know if Immi has a limit on the number of different work places we are allowed to work?

I have my stamp for the second workplace.

My employer knows about the process for the adult program starting in June. That would make #3.

I'm to be sent to another middle school once a week. This will make #4.

Assuming all the forms are sent in, all the hoops jumped through, does Immi care about the grand total of work places?

I think it has more to do with hours worked and pay. You need to make the most money at your main E-2 school. There is some sort of simple formula they use.

Basically, they don't want you making a lot of money doing it. I would be inclined to keep the stated work hours at other locations very low.

Man, you are going to work yourself into the ground whizzing around to 4 different schools.

I go to 38 schools.
But I only have the one employer (the local Office of Education), so it's a slightly different situation to yours, legally speaking, i.e I don't have any extra places listed on my ARC.

Not really, but it could sound that way. My main employer keeps reducing the number of classes here, so I stay at 22. One school is a five minute walk up the street, another is a 5 minute drive and the other is a 10 minute drive.

Just this evening I was looking at the Immigration website to find out more about getting an additional location added to my ARC. According to the immi page, you're only allowed 2 additional worksites. Follow the link, then look about a quarter of the way down for Permission to Change or Add Working Places.

As with all other issues where immigration is concerned, this might be 'flexible' depending on the mood in the office that day. Does it really cost 60,000 won every time you apply for an additional location? Of course I expect the school to pick up the charge, but it just seems awfully high.

This could put a crimp in my boss's plans. Very Happy

Thanks for that information.

The following quote was also lifted from the immigration site linked in my previous post:
Quote:
When a foreigner is transferred to another working place following the directions of an employer, the employer should report that fact to the immigration office which has jurisdiction over the foreigner's new working place within 15 days. In this case, a foreigner does not have to get a permission to change or add working places.

These following 2 conditions should be met!
- same employer
- same activity

Does anyone know if this is valid only in the case of a total transfer to another location and not the case of splitting time at 2 or more places?

Oh, well I guess that's not so bad then. Hope you get your transportation costs covered.
