when I come over my boss always books me with KLM. I go Manchester-Amsterdam-Incheon. This time the return was 500,000 won. I think the route from London might go via Frankfurt. There's a huge price difference depending on what day of the week you fly. |

www.uzbekair.co.kr
UZBEKAIR is the cheapest.
700,000 won (one way) Europe to Korea + 20,000 won Uzbeki transit visa.
Two flights a week to Korea (Boeing 767s).
You have the transit stop in Tashkent (it is actually a nice place). |

I got a good deal with Qatar Airways, but it is one hell of a long flight.
8 hours to Qatar from London and then another 12 or 13 from Qatar to Incheon with a 2-4 hour wait for the connecting flight in Qatar.
I got it for about 400 GBP including tax through Dial A Flight.
It's a good option if you are on a bit of a budget.

Are you serious? Granted, both my appearances at TAS there where in the midst of 48 hour sleep deprevity marathons, but I've never been to a more beat airport. There's no duty free, no restaurants, no order at all. Outside the terminal, everyone is wrapping their boxes and bubba bags in plastic before they check them. Inside the terminal, it's a plane load of people lined up in one massive line, creeping along ever so slowly toward the single check-in counter.
Or are you refering to Tashkent itself? Which could be nice, with the proper amount of money and the proper amount of ignorance about how much you're being ripped off. Take one or the other away (or both, in my case) and there's no way you come out of there calling it nice. YMMV. |

I would have to agree that Qatar airways is the cheapest, though my only experience hearing about it was for a round-trip flight.
I think it was 600,000 won (including a stop in Doha) for a round-trip ticket, though I have to also agree that one-way tickets tend to get alittle bit more on the expensive side. |

i recommend you to use lastminute.com
they have many interesting offers and they are reliable.
cheap filights will generally require transfers. be careful not to choose something over two transfers and those having to transfer in south east asia (too much detour). |

This thread seems to be mostly about flights originating in London. I'd like to fly return from Seoul to London or Manchester next month. Anybody know any good Korean travel agencies to book through or should I go direct through an airline, such as Dubai, KLM, Lufthansa, etc? |

I was really pleased with the service from Kangsan Travel www.kangsantravel.com. They have shops in Daegu and Pusan, but, will courier your tickets to you for free if you don't live in either of those cities.
Sometimes you can get good deals through airline websites so I suggest you compare online prices and travel agency prices before booking. |
