I have a friend coming to visit Busan for a week. I work everyday at 3:30, so I'm looking for things that can be done in the morning... Any ideas? I was thinking the fish market, jagalchi or whatever; that gorgeous temple that's on the coast out past hayundai (anyone know the name of the temple i'm talking about? i know, pretty flimsy description); maybe a morning in the chaos that is seomyeon... what are the must see spots here? Thanks all. |

1- Pomosa (might be tough to do in a morning unless you get up early!)
2- Taejundae
3- Temple along the coast might be a stretch as it is a bit far out.
4- Haeundae (perhaps)
5- Yongdoosan park
6- Childrens park
Many more depending on what your friend is into...
Personally I recommend a morning at the onchonjang spa... |

The park you're referring to is, "Yohng-goong-sah." It's worth a visit. Do it on one day. Visit Hae-oon-dae and Gwahng-ahn-lee on another. The fish market and Nam-poh/PIFF square/Can Market can easily be done in one morning. Maybe do Gyuhng-suhng/Dae-yuhn/UN on another day. On a Saturday, go for some drinks in the Russian district across from Boo-sahn Station. Go around PNU on one of the other days...maybe go for a stroll through that nearby park and maybe one through the electronics market in Myuhng-nyoon if you have no better ideas. If you're going to Children's Park, you might as well check out Sahm-gwahng-sah on the way...it's a half-decent temple located on the left-side of the street a little before the park. |
