Hey everyone. This is my first time posting. I'm not trying to start something, but if anyone has done this or has any advice, cheers and thanks a lot...
I've been here at my school for 4 months now, and I am not experienceing Korea the way I planned. The school had me come over here thinking I was making a different salary, the hours are way longer than we're getting paid, and the administration is very non-professional (I know, I know, lots of people experience this). Please don't tell me suck it up or whatever, just give me advice if you have any...
I only planned on being here a year....is it worth it to change at six months, forfeiting my bonus and such, but maybe getting a higher paying job to make up the difference? I know there are six month contracts, but are there any benefits you can negotiate with them? Any help would be great....have fun in the ROK. |

It's not worth it if you only want to stay another six months. If you want to stay for a year and six months, start looking into getting a letter of release, as that will be your ticket to a better job. |
