a friend of mine asked me for some help revising something he is writing for the elementary school he works for.

the problem is that he is trying to maintain uniformity with all of these sentences, and they are all supposed to end with the word "children".

so far we've got:

clean and healthy children

helpful and well-behaved children

positive and creative children

listen well and express their thoughts well children

curious and diligent children

i'm sure you can guess which one i'm having trouble with.
can anyone think of good adjective forms of "listen well" and "express their thoughts well"?

thanks for your help.

How about 'attentive' and 'articulate'?
