I start running down highway 1 in a straight line from pyeongtaek to osan at 10m/h. As soon as I get to osan I turn around and run back to pyeongtaek at 20m/h. Assume no slow downs, red lights, drunk ajosshi's in my way, or protest mobs. What is my average speed for the whole trip?

Should I spoiler this?

The answer should be 13.3333etc. mph.

The explanation is that if the distance is 20 miles each way, then it takes 2 hours to get from A to B and 1 hour to get from B to A. 40 miles/3 hours = 13-1/3 mph

If the distance is 10 miles each way...

It takes 1 hour to get there and 30 minutes to get back...

so 20 miles in 1 1/2 hours is 40 miles in 3 hours, which equals....13.3333 mph (which is what I think invisible man above me said.)

very good. Most people guess 15m/h.

Here's a new one:

There's something in my pocket, there's nothing in my pocket, what's in my pocket?

Is that your hand in your pocket or are you happy to see me?

I'm tall. I'm green and brown. You see me in nature. (well, good one for Korean kids)

That's too easy, you should try a little harder.

It's Godzilla vs. the Smog Monster

Late one evening, a man and a his wife were driving their car at speed down a country road. The car spun of the road and hit a tree.
The man decided to seek help at a garage a few miles away.
He made sure nobody was in the car, rolled all the windows up, and locked all of the doors.
When he returned, his wife was dead, and there someone in the car he had never seen before.
No physical damage was done to the car, it was still locked?
How did the woman die?
Where did the stranger come from?

I don't know but I was thinking about "hint" games for kids. Useful with flash cards. Give the kid the card when he/she gets the answer. They figure it's a game with points. They listen to you and like it.

"It's a building that has a lot of money."

Was it the wife still in the car (asphyxiated prehaps)? Or was she waiting outside? No one in the locked car when he left, but someone when he returned? Nope. I have no idea.

Okay, in super small font:
I'm guessing she was pregnant and died in labour.

Okay, I have one.

A man is on an airplane, going from one place to another (doesn't matter where). He looks up and sees a person he knows across the isle. He stands up, calls out to his friend and walks over to talk to him. They talk about whatever, how's your wife, how's work, etc. Then he walks back and sits down. After the plane lands the first man is arrested when he tries to get off. Why?

Hint: only works in English.

Easy. There's a hole in your pocket.

Easy, as well. His friend's name is Jack, i.e., Hi Jack!
