Hey everybody,

I am wondering if anybody knows of a place in Korea where I can rent microphones. I'm not talking about crappy vocal karaoke mics, I mean studio quality small capsule condensers. Something akin to the SM81, or even stuff from AudioTechnica, etc. Anybody have any idea?

ive got an AT mic for sale in buy/sell thread. check it out. i reduced the price too.

yeah jonny, i know, remember our earlier discussion on the topic? Anyway, I am more in need of something like a stereo pair of condensers, such as something to use for drum OHs or for stereo recording a small band or choir.

Well i have experience with these mics... but as for renting (just the mics) no.

been in plenty of studios in seoul with decent equip. but it seems you don't want the whole shebang to rent?

no i don't want to rent a studio. The point is to be a more mobile solution for small recording jobs. Like recording a choir or small classical production. Or for using as drum overheads if i do end up doing more complex recordings. I don't have the equipment to implement a whole studio, or the room, plus I'm leaving in 5 months, and the mics are overpriced here, so buying them is not an option. Hence the renting option.
