Interesting. You say it's the "mother's" right to choose. If it is to be said that the woman carrying a "fetus" is a mother, does that not make the "fetus" a baby? And you are saying only the mother has the right to choose to kill the unborn baby? What if the father wants to let the baby live? And why is it okay for a "mother" to have her unborn child murdered as long as it's within the womb, but the second it emerges from the birth canal, it's suddenly "human", a "person", and has a right to live? What makes the birth canal so special that it changes a mere "fetus" into a baby just by passing through it?

It is "shocking" IN THIS SOCIETY for a pregnant woman to get beaten (because of the unborn child within). But it is also perfectly acceptable and not newsworthy IN THIS SOCIETY for a woman to have her unborn child murdered.

How on earth does that make sense?

I would like to know what possible justification there could be for it.

Very simple really, abortion is done with the consent of the mother, and beating is not. By the way, legal professional abortions don't usually harm the mother.

Hahaha priceless.
2 anti-abortion websites claim that abortion is unsafe. Therefore, it must be so.

I would be slightly more moved by data from the medical profession than by anti abortion propoganda.

Arrow Unprejudiced perspective contraventions are always fun. Let me try some Daniel;

Quote:
Many anti-abortion groups have attempted to gather support for the abolition of abortion by evoking hysteria through the dissemination of false information. Many of these groups have done so by stating that abortion is harmful to a women's health. The fact is however, that since the passage of Roe v. Wade, abortions have become not only legal but safer as well. By providing safe, clean facilities and well trained practitioners, abortion has become safer and less harmful to women's health than many more widely performed medical procedures.
