|

Hello there,
I'm shopping around for jobs and it seems like the standard out there for a hogwon is 2 million won, 25-30 hrs/wk, rt airfare, housing, 2 weeks vacation, etc.
So the 25 hours, is that solid teaching time and then I'll have to put in more time for prep? If the school posts the hours as 2-8pm or 9-5 pm is that actual teaching time or teaching as well as prep time?
Thanks for your help guys! |

The 25-30 hours is teaching time. You'll have to put in another 5-10 for planning and grading. All in all it's a better deal than you'de get teaching in the States. As for the times of teaching you'de better ask. You'de of course get lunch but it's hard to tell how many classes straight you'de be asked to teach. Anything over 4 in a row is hard! |
