Snow kills everything, like a kind of natural Agent Orange (that toxic defoliant used in the Vietnam War). Spring has the power to break the lethal chokehold of Winter. Spring is my favourite wrestler.

Did you know that Korea has 4 seasons? Laughing Laughing

Now being serious, I also like spring, it puts a bit of a bounce in my step. I love being able to go out wearing the same thing I was wearing inside.

Looks nice.

Unfortunately, Daegu has had 2 days straight of rain. Make you really notice just how filthy this place is when everything gets watered down.

Wow!! Is the sky REALLY blue??? Between the clouds, rain and yellow sand, it hasn't been blue here in about 2 weeks!

Korea still looks like such an unappealing desert in the spring. It needs more rain, wildlife, and lush greenery.

I like the temperature though.

If I did that my neighborhood would be in a shock!

Korea's Four Seasons:

the nasty sn*w season
the nasty yellow dust season
the nasty too hot and humid season
and the nasty allergy season

but, yeah, there are some nice days thrown into spring and fall sometimes where I'm able to enjoy the weather and breathe all at the same time (as complicated as it is for some folks to chew gum and walk at the same time) and today is shaping up to be one of them.

So glad that the boss' prediction of the worst yellow dust storm in 20 years blowing in last night/this morning did not come true. Of course, now that I've dared to MENTION it, by break time today, I won't be able to see out the window and will be wearing a mask while teaching again. Crying or Very sad

Four seasons is a joke. It has 2 long seasons and 2 seasons that last about 5 minutes. I know that adds up to 4 but it's hardly the same as places in North America and Europe that have 4 seasons of equal length.

I love looking outside my classroom window and seeing the bright green leaves popping out on a dark tree. I also love the flowering trees all over the place.

Unfortunately, my allergies don't agree. Evil or Very Mad ...Which is why autumn is my favorite season in Korea. Cool
