What was the answer for the 3's and 1's? I'd never heard that one before and had no clue about the answer.

A really balanced man.
With 50 at the beginning, and 50 at the end, and 5 in the middle.
The one that starts every clock lies in both in betweens.
Put them all together and this man is not inclined to do anything.

I get "level": 50 = L, 5 = V, the one that starts every clock is "e".

But the "man" part is throwing me off.

Three guys driving in a car. Car breaks down. They walk into a nearby hotel and ask for 3 rooms. The hotel manager explains that there is only 1 vacancy. They take the room and are charged $30 total. Each man gives a $10 bill and they adjourn to the room. About 10 minutes later the manager decides to give the guys a $5 discount because of their late arrival. He pops open the cash drawer and gives the bellhop 5 $1 bills. When the bell hop arrives at the room and the men open the door, the bellhop explains the discount. The men ask how they are going to divide it up equally. So, they decide to each keep a dollar and give the bellhop the other $2 as a tip.

So, each guy gets one dollar back and origionally paid $10. Each guy therefore only paid $9 since they each got a dollar back. $9*3= 27 + $2 bellhop tip = $29. Where did the other dollar go?

$27 is the total the three guys paid: $25 for the room ($30-$5) + $2 tip =$27. If they split the cost equally, theyd each have paid $9. All dollars accounted for.

This is an oldie but a goodie.

A man goes out one night and gets extremely drunk. He comes home and goes in the door. He then walks upstairs, turns off the light and goes to bed. The next morning he wakes up, looks out the window and sees something. He immediately throws himself out the window to his death.

What did he see?

They're both terribly injured.....emergency officials happen upon the scene and rush them off to hospital. when they arrive at the hospital both are wheeled into surgery. When the boy reaches the operating room the surgeon exclaims...'I can't operate on him...he's my son' Who is the doctor?
