Capetown, South Africa. Just stunning... wasted far too much time pissing around in J'burg.

Japan... but when I have more money.

Good question.

Kathmandu - as soon as things settle down.

Once had a GIANT fillet mignon (sp?) for US$3 at the Everest Steak House.

Hard to find better food for better prices. Also, just kind of a kick back town.

Chitwan National Park is pretty good too.

Italy, when I last went it was for a football game and I just spent the time drinking.

Now I'm a bit older and more mature it would be cool to go back and check out the culture, history ect.

If money was no object, Japan. For at least 6 months at a slow, leisurely pace.

This summer, I'm hitting some select places I've been before in SE Asia that were my faves ... Angkor, Luang Prabang, Vientiane, Sukhothai/Si Sanchanalai, Hoi An, Dalat. Unfortunately I don't have enought time for some places in Phils. Oh well.

Umm, San Cristobal Island, Galapagos, Ecuador.
One of the only places in the world where you can walk down the street side by side with a sealion. Laughing

Vientiane, Laos. Lovely people, low prices, a French restaurant on every block; a baguette and pate to start each morning, and the fine Beer Lao to follow. In the evening, a rack of lamb accompanied by an excellent Bordeaux, while watching the fountains play outside. One would hardly know that beyond the lights, there's an impoverished country. The last legacy of the French empire.

Johdpur, India.

Just out of a dream. Picture a huge castle majestically jutting out of a blue city, and in the distance a Taj Mahal-like palace, all surrounded by desert and blue sky.

Malaysia. Only spent a week there, would like to explore it more.

Japan. Visa run was a little tease.

Yemen. Would hate to live there but it's unique as anywhere and great in small doses.

Hong Kong. Favorite city in Asia.

Bangkok. 2nd favorite.

Glasgow, Scotland was fun and the people were friendly and laid back. I didn't get to spend enough time there. The Scottish highlands (Glencoe)are really beautiful too and didn't spend enough time there either.

London - so much to see and do!

Phuket - laid back, great fun and amazing beaches!

Not very exotic but: on the hottest day of the summer, a particularly beautiful swimming hole(s) with 3 waterfalls near Jay Peak, Vermont.
