I am looking for a western style buffet restaurant. Does anyone know of any? I miss these types of restaurants as they usually have good salads, soups, and other dishes. Sunday breakfast buffets? What are the price ranges of these restaurants if there are any?

VIPS makes me want to barf. Go there and get the worst western food you will ever have, however, they may still make you happy after a while here. Sizzler on the other hand, I find to be quite good, so if you see on of those somewhere, I would go there. I don't know if there is a Sizzler in Bundang.

I'm pretty sure there is a Sizzler in Migeum, across the street from Outback.

I went to VIPS near Mokdong station. It was bland, bland, bland. The free buffet and drinks were a nice touch, but the food was nothing to write home about at all.

You're listing restaurants... but I do like Tony Romas and get a healthy 30% discount there thanks to one of the staff

The best kind of buffet experience I've found here is Marche... you go round to various food and drink stalls within one restaurant select what you want and they'll stamp your card for the item which you take before you present your card at the cash desk before you leave... and there's numerous about. If you're in Co-Ex if you take Exit 6 from the Samseong subway station then you end up in there as you step through the dooors of Co-Ex.

I know of one just outside Gangnam station too. It's either Exit 5 or Exit 7. I always get mixed up between the two, but its below the Tony Romas.

There's a chain called "Carne Station" which I like a lot.

It's buffet, including raw meat, which you can take and cook at your table as at a "kalbi" restaurant.

Also included is booze, including wine, scotch/whiskey, beer, and (if you're so inclined) soju.

* near Samseong Station

tel: 562-1239

* near Gangnam Station

tel: 557-1239, 1606~8

Intercontinental Coex. Incredible lunch buffet including lamb, roast beef, lobster and sashimi, soups, lots of cold plates and salads. About 40k won and worth it.

Seven Springs. It's a salad buffet and it's pretty good. There's one in Hongdae. go out exit 6 (not straight; the opposite direction). you'll run into it.
mon - fri lunch is around 14,000, dinner a bit higher.
weekends, no lunch buffet, dinner buffet starts at 4:00.

There is a restaurant on first floor of the Lotte Hotel at Euljiro-1 on line 2. Breakfast buffet there was something like 24,200 won after tax. Pricey for breakfast, but cheap compared to some of the competition.

I appreciate all of the suggestions. I will definitely be checking out some of these. As for VIPS, SIZZLER, or any of those other ones, they are terrible. There is a good restaurant in the 2001 building at Migeum called Ashley's that's pretty good. It's 10,000 W and you get salad, soup, and hot dishes. I go there frequently. (It's on the top floor)
