The link I provided above has the There rule. Just remember:
with here, there, and it, the verb's form (either singular or plural) is decided on the subject that proceeds the verb.
ex. There is a reason for this happening. (reason is the subject and is singular thus the verb must be singular)
ex. Here are 3 numbers for you to use. (numbers and 3 making the subject and being plural so the verb must be plural)
