For personal reasons I need to quit work. 7 months into the contract.
What documents do I need to secure from my Boss?
1.Letter of release
What else?
What else do I have to do?
2. I will need to spend several months in Korea afterwords. I do not plan to work. I can go to Fukuoka for a few days if I have to...Will I be able to come back on tourist visa?
3. Will I be able to come back on tourist visa if my boss refuses to give me a LOR??
Thanks |

You only need the letter of release if you plan to work here in the next 5 months. Otherwise, you can submit a letter of resignation to him, collect what money's owed to you and mosey on over to Fukoka without a worry
You can go to Fukoka and return on a tourist visa no problem, but you should check to see how long your country gets for a tourist visa because you might have to do this a few times. |

Thanks. What if my boss refuses to give me the LOR?
Can I still go to Fukuoka and come back on a tourist visa? Again I do not plan to work afterwards....

The LOR is only necessary to get a new work visa, so you'll be fine |
