Is there any way to get the NHL playoffs on TV around this country?

Satellite providers? Cable? Anything?

Yeah, get a sling box (www.slingmedia.com) and you'll be able to watch anything you please any time...I just watched the Oilers make it to the playoffs this morning.

Go to Streamtvnow.com... I'll try the link http://www.streamtvnow.com

It costs 3 Euros per month and I have used it to watch Hockey Night in Canada every Sunday for the last four months.. is it flawless.. HELL NO... does it have the occasional buffering problems.. yes.

But.. for 3 Euros a month.. I take what I can get... and enjoy the games (also has other sports).

So how does this work? Do you pay per game? Will they have all the playoff games or just Saturday's HNIC games? Will the picture quality be ok in full screen?

Sorry, AFN hasn't shown the finals in years and now since they aren't showing much sports I highly doubt you will see any on it

We MAY get the NBA Finals.

Best bets are either slingbox or streamtv

May of been that way a few years ago but I don't recall seeing TB-Calgary. I can gurantee that with the way AFN has been changing their sports programming since the Olympics we will be seeing very little sports in the future. They want the gis to get the dish and pay them $25/month plus install of around $150 for the other 7 AFN channels which includes AFN Sports

By 3 Euros a month... I mean.. you pay 3 Euros a month. Ummm... not per game.

Basically what it is... a group of guys (20) stream sports over the internet non-stop. So... you get to watch basically whatever they watch.. (you can try to request though).

One guy is a huge Soccer fan.. another boxing.. there are abour 3 hockey fans (one from Toronto... one is a Rangers fan.. and the other an Avs fan I believe). Essentially they stream the hockey... so YES you will get more than the HNIC games (Remember HNIC goes into daily mode during the playoffs anyway).... what games you will get.. I have no idea.

You need to pull somewhere between 250kbs to 430kbs to get the stream... where I am in Gangnam I am safe up to about 375kbs and then it gets questionable whether the stream will hold or not at 430kbs.

I tried to take a screenshot.. but it put the live stream in my PhotoShop.. WEIRD... anyway.. I watch hockey on the full screen... it is hard to follow the puck.. and it isn't perfect. But, it is clear enough to at least follow.

Anyways... it works well and for 3,000 Won/month.... and no other cheap options... I love it.

I have streamtv too and when it works it fabulous. Problem is during American football season they get so many people online their servers get overloaded. They also can't stream EPL or Champions League, UEFA and the FA nailed them. Hope they can do world cup as thats the only way you'll get eng commentary here in korea

Chiaa was trying to get them to get a server in asia to help out but he never heard back from them

Yeah, I watched the Calgary/TB series. Also saw Calgary's semis.

Saw the last two rounds from the year before with Anaheim and ...

I guess you could be right about em this year. Although, AFN has had NHL on NBC ads running the last little while. Can't say for sure if they end with AFN Prime's symbol or AFN Sport's symbol.

If you are in Cheongju The Road King bar is going to be showing games albeit a day late every night during the playoffs.
