|
|
I have a few workout video's and no VCR and I would really like them on DVD but can't find them anywhere.
Does anyone know of a place that will put the tapes on DVD.
I am looking for a specific location in Seoul.
Thanks |

I've seen places that transfer VHS to DVD (and vice versa, of course) in the Yongsan Electronics Market, specifically in the basement of the old bus station. I'm not sure of the that building's name, but it is connected to the new Yongsan Station/Space 9 building by a long covered walkway.
One caveat: the prices I saw listed were very expensive, although no, I don't remember any specific amounts.
If you need further directions or more information, PM me.
Best of luck. |

I've heard that transfers are very costly. Someone back home quoted me a price like $70 per hour of transfering. I think you'd be better off just buying a second-hand or even a new vcr than to try to have them transfered to dvd. I believe there's a forum here for buying / selling stuff. You could start there. |

I've got a VCR you can have for 10,000 won if you come pick it up. It works well, has a remote, but the kicker is that it is all in Japanese. |

Thanks for the replies. Well the tapes are definetely not worth the transferring fee so I guess VCR it is. |

Some schools have the conversion equipment, and if you ask nicely, you'll be able to find a teacher who can do it for you. If you don't work at such a school... |
