They think I'm helpless, but my female co-workers are great!

Never, eh?

You so often speak with such confidence about something you know so little about.

I never knew you had a family, schwa!! Then again, I don't know much about you at all.

You should come to the National Conference next month and we can get better acquainted!

Right, because you married a Korean guy who can get his mind around marying a non pure blooded Korean woman, this makes you an expert on typical Korean men.

I am not claiming to be an expert. If you're going to backpedal and talk about "typical Korean men", then perhaps you should have altered your original statement to read "In a culture where a man will typically not serve a woman". That would look less foolish. And be more accurate.

Gotta agree with the Corp here....typically would have been better than never mindmetoo...

Heck..my brother-in-law cooks and cleans and helps his wife around the house when he can. They have 3 kids and he helped heaps.

You could also have mentionned a generation change here mindmetoo. For example, my grand dad never lifted a finger in the house. His wife did everything. My dad...well things changed...see how that works?

Of course, things might take a longer to change here or they might evolve into something different.

I don't understand these one-income families. I'll be fucked if I'm going to work and my wife stays home all fucking day. This isn't the '50s. These days it's best for 2 incomes and couples sharing in the household duties. Those guys who don't lift a finger are just arseholes.

"Aw! I don't know how to cook." If you don't know how to cook, how can you teach English?
