I've been following the Cavs all season and have been to a couple games, but it looks like I'm going to miss all but the first round. I leave for Seoul in about 2 weeks. I'm really looking forward to see how Lebron fares in his first playoff appearance, but Arenas and the Wizards make me a little nervous. I don't expect to beat the Pistons in the second round, but it would be nice to at least give them a scare. |

Let's Go Heat!!!!!!
Seriously though, I don't think they can make much of an impression this year, they've lost a lot of games against the other teams in the playoffs. |

Ditto. They'll dispatch the Bulls easily enough, but the Nets or Pacers could give them trouble. I still believe they'll make it to the conference semis, but the Pistons will likely have the brooms out.

Honestly, the only team that could possibly touch the Pistons would be the Nets.
The Nets have shown that they can play a grind it out half-court game, their def. numbers are near the top of the league. The entire offence is now run through Kidd for 3 quarters. Then, VC is given the green light to pretty much do anything he wants in the 4th.
Knock VC all you want, but the man is clutch in the final seconds of a game. |

Other than a long break during San Antonio's thrashing of Sacramento, I've been sitting on my ass all day watching the first games of the playoffs. LeBron was ridiculous, scoring a triple double in his first playoff game, still living up to all the hype. The Bulls/Heat game was the closest and most intense. Chicago almost stole the first game. Right now the Clippers have a sixteen point lead on Denver. I'd like to see them advance while Lakers get swept, just to embarass Kobe and all the Laker's fans. |

Stupid Korean TV: the first day of the playoffs, and no games broadcasted.
Tomorrow, Super Action has Pistons/Bucks @8am. Not one I'm particularly looking forward to, but I'll catch it.

Does anybody know of any bars in Seoul that get all or most of the NBA games? The Cavs game is on at 9am tomorrow and I'm dying to catch it. I don't want to miss the only good thing to happen to Cleveland sports in the past 5 years. Any other suggestions on how to catch the game would also be welcome. |

Try streamtvnow on the Net. Download Winamp media player, pay the guys at streamtvnow a mere 3 euros a month and you'll be able to catch every single game not to mention hockey. |

Last night I was alternately depressed and excited. The Cavs lost in a close one at home, but I also found out I will be able to go to game 5 in Cleveland, depending on when my flight to Korea is booked. They told me "around the middle of next week." The game is on Wednesday, so if I leave no earlier than Thursday I can see it. Maybe I can convince them I need an extra day to prepare?
The Spurs/Kings game was heartbreaking, even though I'm not a fan of either team. I generally root for the underdog. It was hard to see the Kings get so damn close, but they couldn't quite get over the hump...like the first two games in the Bulls/Heat series. |
