Match the touch of lipstick though. Was that intended?

The docs threw that in for an extra 700,000 baht--such deals in Thailand!

It takes courage to post a pic of yourself, esp. in a bikini, on the web. People should be a little sensitive to this in criticism or whatever that was supposed to be on page one of this thread.

In any case, this notwithstanding, you do look great in the bikini, Canuckistan and beautiful in the Thai pic, too. Nice smile as well.

Just a clarification for your benefit as it's a serious and well meaning post-canuckistan knows I am one of _his_ biggest fans-but not in a creepy _When a Stranger Calls_ kind of way.

It's true, Joe Thanks.

It's true.

Thanks for the compliment and the concern Gopher--if I couldn't handle eating some *beep* and abuse they wouldn't be here.
The "Canuck loves you" pic was for a silly joke a while back.

Had a nice little gutty-wut going in January I tell ya--tearing up the garden in earnest these last couple of months has thankfully sucked everything back into place--who needs Jenny Craig!

TMKATM, are you the official "Dave's Obituarist"? (and will that slip past the swear filtre?) Because this place should have one. Who else died besides Joe & Zed?

And Canuckistan & Gopher, I've got some very exciting news for you both. Seems that Korea's new visa issuance requirements (sealed & stamped-on-the-outside transcripts, etc.) are being made retroactive for all ESL teachers who've taught in Korea during the past five years, including those who have left the country.

What this means is, you're going to have to get back here on the double and sort things out, and from what I'm hearing -- and I know people in high places, I'm "Mr. Connected" -- they say that because Korea has certain treaties with Canada & the US, you're current jobs and/or marriages are no longer considered legal or valid by the courts of either country. Now this actually works to your advantage, as you now have no strings or obligations to delay your return. Just sell your belongings, buy a ticket and be ready to start teaching next Tuesday morning.

Once you've re-submitted your documents in accordance with the new E-2 visa requirements, you'll both be starting work back at your very first employers in Korea. Things will be a little different this time around, as you'll be assigned "co-teachers" in line with prevailing fads and MOE policy. However, under a new pilot programme you're not going to have Korean co-teachers, but rather dead Dave's posters brought back to life. Yes, Zed and Joe Thanks will be your new tag-team members in the classroom. Along with William Beckerson and Daechidong Weigookin. Oh, and I've received early word from your old employers on curriculum & teaching materials:
Course Title: Intensive Chanting (Beginner, Intermediate & Advanced levels)
Reading List: Go-Go Loves to Chant and "Pizza! Chicken! Yum, Yum, Yum!" and Other Favourites for Chanters of All Ages

(Please do not disappoint the mommies and the babies by being late.)
