changing ones established conventions regarding dress can be very freeing |

Well, I hope you are not talking about "Hair" level freeing. They don't allow that at the schools here. Well, at least not mine. Ask pet lover about hers... |

well, before i came here i was strictly a calvins man - only in regulation grey marl at that
however, i overcame my initial aesthetic objections to the locally produced briefs - i firmly believe these have given me a whole new lease of life |

I don't care what anybody thinks. I will wear socks with sandals!!!!
If I don't then my feet will suffer. I'd rather have my street-cred (such as it is!) suffer than my feet. |

I absolutely agree. Men in sandals....yuk. But sadly they're essential in the hot, humid summer surely? Ottherwise I'm gonna clear the room when I take my shoes off. |

You just haven't seen what they're doing with the pattern combinations these days... |

Hi
Let me share with you a story. I was walking through Incheon airport not too long ago after a week long excursion to China. I saw two westerners (man and a woman) both wearing teva-like flip flops and socks. I thought to myself "I hope they're on the next plane outta here cause they've been in Korea too long." That fashion faux pas by a westerner is unexcusable in tyhis country or any other. That said, please please do not wear socks with sandals. I am generally against men wearing sandals (mandals) anyway. Flipflops are fine. Sandals are a no go especially with white socks reminiscent of my fashion impaired father. =) |
