Back to the topic at hand:\

Once a ride operator on a disneyworld ride had a funny comment about Canadians. It was January in Florida. Now January isn't like January in Canada but it's not summer weather. Anyway, we're all wearing walking shorts and long sleeved hoodie sweatshirts.

"You guys are Canadian, right?"

"Yes, how did you know?"

"Because only Canadians wear sweatshirts and walking shorts."

THAT's the spirit, Race Traitor! A far cry from posting pictures on the net - it even verges on being constructive! We'll certainly get out to see those guys when we have a chance, as we've heard nothing but good things about them, and I'm sure their attitude is the same. Now imagine if 8 to 10 bands of the Penetrators calibre were SPAMMING freely, along with painters, filmmakers, and dance troupes - wow, then Seoul would REALLY suck. But then again, Periwinkle posting about a bad hair day ...

No, they think you guys are full of it too. Both the Waking Party and Team Dread are very supportive of the local music scene.

I for one am a band fellow I like rubber bands even though Mad Donna started the black arm ring fashion. However I am no in Seoul so I tend to wear a large slain marmot on my shoulders and chest Then I sprint down the Jeju City Hall Avenues between the shops bellowing "I am LORD of Jeju See my Smooth Chest and Hard breasts and Know that I can best you and any band of hippies in battle For it is of me that God never wrote:

He will come like a Monkey upon you,
Yea though you hide your bosom at night,
Yet he will smite you down with the swerd,
And in your dieing you will know,
That he is not the Lord

Fear him then and hide your breasts from his gory
For out of his mouth comes all bits of Kim Chee sputtering
And if he should speak upon you Then you will know
he is the foul mouthed spitting Phat Lord
The Jeju Prince

So never spoke the Lord nor was it ever written in his writ.

I hope this helps guide this pointy topic back into the twin cleft it was meant to rest upon.

I was talking with the guy from Waking Party a couple weeks ago and he mentioned how much your attention whoring and slagging the rest of Seoul's music scene pisses him off. Maybe if you took some time to look around you'd see that there are a lot of bands, foreigner and Korean, doing a lot more than you and playing better music.

And I hate to drop names, but you were asking for it.

Well, THAT's not very nice of them. But yes, they obviously support the local music scene. Of course, I really don't believe the messenger boy ... I wonder where they heard we were slagging other bands from as well? Well, that's ONE concert date I'm crossing off from MY social calendar ... rock on!!! Playing off bands against each other .. is it working, Race Traitor? Who's next? The Rock Tigers?

Are you? I can only wonder what lies you can tell them about us while you hang posters for them ... cut and pasting works wonders.

I went for a jog last night wearing shorts and a hoodie. When I was finished I got a bottle of pocari or something from the corner store and the lady at the counter made it clear that I looked like a tool. Who says we don't have a national identity?

Who are the posters who are members of or associated with this "Penetrators" band?

I want to compile a list of posters I want to avoid because I'm getting sick and tired of their constantly spamming us with bullsh!t thread titles.

spam
noun: unwanted e-mail (usually of a commercial nature sent out in bulk)

So far I have:

jonnyyaa
scarsdale yank

Who else is there?

Let me translate this for you RACETRAITOR... "The guy from Waking Party said the Penetrators "fun energetic show and kick ass sound" were making him jealous because they always seem to pack the club when they play" As far as Club FF, the Penetrators had a full house both times they headlined there too. There's only a select few expat bands that can pack a club in Itaewon and the Penetrators are one of them.... Hell from what I heard they've been playing private parties for banks and a few ambassador parties lately too. They must not be all bad.....
