Often due to my inferior intellectual and professional skills, I need the corrections of the wise and gifted contributors to this board. I woke up this morning thinking about this one.

2002, the 'new, independent, slightly anti American' democracy of President Roh is ussured in.

Huge anti American protests - flags burn - mass rallies broadcast around the world.

Iraqi war - quite a few countries not overly hateful or resentful of America don't agree with invasion. Don't go.

Constant protests in Korea for American troops to leave. Er, that should be easy now. Don't send troops to Iraqi. I think the yonkees might become a little more scarce. You won't even have to ask them to leave.

Read the other day that Korea still has the 3rd largest occupation in Iraqi.

What have I missed?

That this should go in the Current Events forum, for starters.

You might want to do some proofreading next time as well. I don't understand your post at all. It's gibberish.

The US and Korea are strategically allies but diplomatically not allies. That's all.

Sorry indytrucks. As I mentioned before, I don't have the fine semantic and analytical style of expression that is common on this board. I guess that's why I'm not a teacher. I will try harder next time.

Thanks Racetraitor, that is a good answer - although I think strategic relations without diplomacy make strange bedfellows.

I'll try to bump this over to the off topic discussion.
