I'm looking through my class diary and I've only taught a full week once since the start of school back in March. There are some classes I've only seen 3-4 times since March 1st despite being on the books as seeing them .
This week I'm teaching 5-6 classes all week.
Next week is tests.
Week after the second and third years are out on MT.
I like having the odd class cancelled and having little breaks here and there but this is getting a little ridiculous! |

I have three classes this week due to the students preparing for their Midterms next week.
Midterms next week mean zero classes for me.
I should have all my lessons prepared till the end of the semester with all this freetime

I have only 12 official teaching days in May.
And, a friend is visiting from the States so my school is giving me another two days off to show her around.
Who was asking in another thread if hakwons offer the best jobs here..? |

| two days off for me this week. all kids in school are going on some field trip or something (or "picnic" as one student described it) so 2 days off - weds and thurs. It's good actually how my school has said "take 2 days off" as opposed to make me come in and sit on my arse. Common sense decisions like that can't be taken for granted in public school. |
