How many posters know other posters? Are they really as outspoken as they are online? Are they cool to hang out with? Have you ever met someone on here, in person, and realized it was the worst thing you could have done? Question

I have seen many foreigners in Korea. To be honest with you, I can't help to think, "hmm....is it someone I have seen post on Dave's before..."

I know Sarahsarah (gone?) and Uberscheisse. I've met a bunch more people who recognise me from this site, but they're more like people and less like usernames. Surprisingly, they didn't try to kill me.

Nobody knows me because I don't really exist. I am a Chinese internet bot that just happens to spew (vaguely) coherent streams of letters.

Actually I do know Racetraitor, but I'm not sure if he knows I am me.

i know zyzyfer. i've met the bobster a few times. i've met a couple others.
zyzyfer is pretty much the same. bobster is a lot more mellow face to face. but then, i've never talked politics with him. maybe he gets riled up when he talks politics face to face. i won't know.

This board has always been confrontational.... less so these days.

So you're saying, back when this place was more confrontational (and that's about the mildest description I've ever heard from a "Joined 2003" poster) it was still, somehow, strangely enough, in some way or another, more social? To the extent that people wanted to meet offline? Weird dynamics.

we use to throw parties back in the day, I think myself, Kiwiboy, and CLG were all responsible for the big dave partys that were thrown..
I think a couple others also.. this is all back in 2002 days..
these days.. seems no one is bothered to do it anymore..
I think I have met many posters , I met them 3 times on one night and it was all new to me hahahaha
