I was wondering if there is any place in Korea where I can buy Bose audio equipment.? I left my Bose multimedia speakers back home and I have went through 3 multimedia audio speaker systems already and given them away. I just have been spoiled by the Bose sound I guess.

At Yongsan go to the second floor of ET Land. When you're there you'll see shops that sell high-end audio.

there is also a bose service center/outlet on the main street above the big market area. i have no idea if going to a hole-in-the-wall shop will make the prices less, but it's a shot.

I had the same problem when I first moved here... finally broke down and bought the Bose....

There's a Bose audio room in COEX. It's inside one of the small Sony stores downstairs not far from the escalators. There's no Bose sign out front, but you can listen and buy on the spot.

I'm having my ear massage now.

Bose is overrated as a speaker brand, but you can try Yongsan or Techno Mart if you're willing to pay their jacked-up prices.

Also try online sellers, as I bought my my JBL 5.1 speaker system from an e-tailer.

No highs, no lows.... must be Bose!

It's not that they're utter crap... it's just that they're massively overpriced. Bose spends all of this extra money on marketing. There's better out there for less money -- but if you're a bose faithful - go to Yongsan and go to the building called ڷ -- on the second floor towards the end, they have some shops that sell expensive stuff - you may find what you're looking for there.

My Bose multimedia system cost me only 250.00 US and it has all the sound of the high end systems. I will admit that the Higher end Bose stuff is a bit ridiculous but the lower end Bose units, in my opinion by far blow away similar priced competition.
