I've survived variations of dak ji, rattlesnake magnets, yugi o cards, that game where they have to slam stones down on their desk, ddung chims, laser pointers, fascination with the f-word/the finger, ultraviolet pens, kids jumping up at random and doing the crazy dog dance... BUT I CAN'T SURVIVE A CLASS ROOM OF KIDS ALL DOING THE NUMA NUMA. I can't.

It's a theme song for some popular computer game- that's how they all know it. I'd rather listen to that then "Bucking USA", which was the song of the day back in 2001. ^~ Numa numa rocks.... |

I like how in this video it appears that the kid in yellow at one point tries to surf to another page and the numa kid pops up on his screen in multiplicity.

Yeah, they're probably singing the Korean ripoff version, "Noona Noona". It's being played everywhere now. |

Let me guess --
Young man! (something something something)
I said Young man! (something um.. uh...)
(garble, burble, wedon'tknowthewords) at da WHY EM SHE AYE!
(yadda yadda yadda) WHY EM SHE AYE! Hey!
We all know that damn song was tailor-made for the Koreans. Just as we all know that when the "Let's All Stretch & Bend Together" in-flight exercise video comes on, we're the only ones among 200 passengers who aren't twinkling our toes, doing the "group-stretch" or lolling our heads in rhythm (because we're feigning sleep or suddenly interested in that article on fine dining options in Copenhagen). |
