Aussie.....I was wondering what the standard recruiting fee was. I hear it ranges anywhere from 500,000 won to the equivalent of the teacher salary-about 2 million. Just curious as to how much you guys charge.

2.0mil is a ridiculous amount to quote...why any school would pay that much is beyond me..but I would not mind having shares in that company.
Most recruiters are around the 1.0mil mark I guess. But feel free to charge your clients more, just don't sacrifice the teacher's wage to bump up your fee! I have heard that happens.

i'm trying (still) to find a decent job in korea.i've e-mailed a couple of recruiters but one stands out.again, i'm not going to give a name.either his sales patter is excellent and he has bribed half of changwon/masan/jinhae and efl law or he is an honest, genuine guy.i'd like to believe the latter as he actually advised me about recruiters and no, he didn't slag off other companies.this impressed me. also the fact that i have received no e-mails for a week, leads me to think doesn't seem desperate to 'get' me and pocket the fee only to leave me up the creek (unlike other companies who inundate me with rubbish, one job in taiwan!!).there are crooks and cowboys in every industry, i have stichted people myself but there may also be some good 'uns aswell.i'm a pessimist at heart but i do believe that there are some worth their salt.well i hope so at least!!hurry up and find me a job, then i can learn for definate!!
