Are there any sport bars/restaurants that would allow me to watch the NFL Draft this weekend? Or any local channel (hah)?
Thanks! |

I would trade seein it for the Bucs to trade up and take Winston Justice...
There's no way its gonna be televised here...best just to follow it on nfl.com or cnnsi... |

You can't watch the draft.
Who do you think, in 5 years, will be the best players from this draft?
Offense - Jay Cutler
Defense - AJ Hawk
Most Solid, Consistent - De'Brickashaw Ferguson
Most Overrated - Mario Williams
Sleepers - LenDale White, Jimmy Williams |

Why would you want to watch the draft when there are plenty of Park Chan-ho reruns? |

Best players--obviously Bush...Watch out for Ernie Sims and Michael Huff... I think Maroney from Minnesota will be a solid player...I think Justice can develop into a dominating player...
I think Leinart will be a bust--soft, slow, no zip on his passes...
I am curious to see how the Top 10 pans out...think there may be some trades (switching positions)... |

cant believe neither of you guys mentioned VY.
he was a superstar at his highschool, and again at his university. its just a matter of time until he shows up the NFL. |

All of these guys were.
ForceOne, I agree with what you say about Justice and Maroney, they will both be really good. Disagree about Leinert. He's a winner type. |

best bet at this point is to get streamtvnow. somebody will likely be streaming it. If you push it maybe you can get somebody in the stated to get a slingbox
VY is so overrated as a qb. His throwing motion is awful. I wouldn't take him but Tenn is hooked on him
Hope Houston goes with Williams, they need line help more than they need a RB. |

I like Vince Young--I was hooked after I saw the Rose Bowl--arguably the best game I have ever seen, and probably the single most dominating individual perfromance.
I don't think his throwing technique will matter--it may look funny, but aparently he releases it super quick--I know its a different sport, but Reggie Miller had arguably the worst shooting fundamentals and he had a pretty good career (haha). Point is, he has something that can't be taught and will be very difficult to contain.
I think its all about getting selected to a team that has the right system for him--I read somewhere yesterday talking about how Steve Young would never be the player he was if he had stayed in Tampa, but when he got to S.F., they had a system that matched his abilities (along with that Rice guy I guess) and he developed into a Hall-Of-Famer...
I think Young is going 3rd to the Titans, but a Moss/Young combo would be sick! |

The draft is the most boring event. You have to be a really degenerate to need to spend 3 hours watching what you could read online in 30s. I mean the first two picks are already done. Half the players don't even show up. So you are esentially listening to retired NFLers repeat the same catchphrases about great prospects and tremendous upside and watching highlite reels with that ESPN music. Everyone knows the draft is a crapshoot at best. |
