i'm thinking of coming to seoul for 2 weeks june 13 to 29. i want to check out korea for myself and interview for jobs. have any of you found a job that way? is that a bad time of year to come? (other than the hot, humid weather, of course.) |

I did it once and it worked out fine.
It's around the time when hakwons and summer camps will be hiring for their busy season. You shouldn't have much problem finding job offers. Double check the quality of the offers, though. |

yeah thats a great time.
institutes hire for the beginning of the next month.. so just in time for July 1st.
Plus because all of the schools are just finishing in mid-June.. it means the demand for classes in the institutes goes up. Meaning they usually need another teacher or two.
In addition.. lots of summercamps around that time for short-term employment as well. |

u can get a good school by heading here in person...make sure u pick out schools of interest and forward resumes to cut down on time wasted doing that here....
in-person interviews gives you a chance to check them out....
the way forward... |
