So many negative posts...just posting because I had a good experience at the Seocho-gu branch of the Pension office today. There was a very friendly, English-speaking info lady who welcomed us and escorted us about. Then, the woman who helped us with the paperwork was informative and friendly. She explained everything well and answered our questions in detail.
Smiles!
Thank you National Pension Scheme! |

I need to try to collect my pension before my school gets sold. Any chance you could give me directions to the Seocho Branch? Thanks |

Ditto the one in Seong-su. I submitted my paperwork and got my money before the day was done. |

When I went, they didn't speak much English, but the forms were in English and Korean, so it wasn't difficult anyway. One of the least painful burecratic experiences I had there. |
