Does anyone know anything about finding housing in Seoul? Where can I look? Do I need to speak Korean? What do the prices run for a one bedroom or studio? |

yup.
Go to your local "boo dong san". They will have listings in the window of their current listings.
A typical 1 room villa (~10 pyong) will require e deposit of 2 to 5 million won and monthly rent of 200-500 thousand won.
For a typical officetel of about 15-20 pyong will need a deposit of 10-20 million won and a monthly rent of about 500k.
A one or two bedroom apartment will run about 20-50 million won deposit and rent of 200k - 1 million won.
Speaking Korean will definately be an asset when dealing with the rental agent or the landlord. |

Also, you have to pick the area you want to, or need to, live and canvas most of the real estate places. Don't settle for something until you've had a good look around. There are some pretty decent digs to be found if you are patient and hold out for what you want. |
