If she is a student, and if she is a Korean student at a Korean university, she might have the mentality of a high school student.
Why would she wait until after a test to introduce you to the people in her circle?
And from my knowledge, most relationships in Korea that start in college or such don't last long after that because either the guy or gal go off to do bigger and better things with their lives; IE, language study in Canada or England or Australia, Taking the after-graduation backpacking trip or such, or just starting a job.
If you watch alot of the Korean dramas, you will see that it is almost romantic to break up with their significant other after graduation to find success and alot of the young people believe that.
All I can say is that you shouldn't expect too much from her at her age (I am guessing about 22 or 23, right?) That is not an age to get serious with any Korean girl.
Sorry to burst your bubble.
I just hope you can get over her as soon as possible so you can find a "better one" |

That would be an extracurricular lesion, not liaison. |

Your girl may have just had a bad case of yeast infection during one of these periods (ahem...times). If the two places on her legs are the only bruises she has from a rape, she wasn't raped (though she still could have had the sex...consensually). Violent rape is hard to hide. And, no matter how timid a girl is, I imagine she will fight if she were raped. The fact you can't tell says much about how little you know your soul mate.

No one can tell how they will react in a rape, so I wouldn't blame him for not being able to predict his girlfriend's reaction. Some people feel anger, depression, denial, guilt, shame... probably all of those things at some point, and in some order.
Another thing I wanted to address was the notion that rape has to leave a mark. There are plenty of ways to coerce a person without using physical force. Even if threats weren't made, some people don't lash out-- they freeze instead, they plead, they weep, but they don't use violence. The bruises don't tell the whole story one way or another. |

This relates to something I was going to post. In fact, I did post it several days ago, but when I read it in situ, I worried that someone might think I was being silly and not treating the subject seriously. So I deleted it myself a minute later. Now that it's been brought up, I'll try again.
This whole discussion of thigh bruises, their acceptance as being proof-positive of anything, their role as the hinge of all suspicions... I just don't know. I don't recall ever seeing those on a girl's body, not on her thighs anyway. Maybe on the shin or arm such as we all might get from minor mishaps. But even if I did see a bruise on a girl's thigh, I don't imagine my very first thoughts would be "CHEATER! " or "RAPE VICTIM! " At least, they wouldn't've been prior to reading this thread.
And no, I can't offhand think of an equally plausible counter-explanation for a thigh bruise. But even still, it just has to be the result of sex or violence, does it? Because that seems to be the automatic, unquestioned conclusion most people are drawing. (Or was it entirely the girlfriend asking "Do you love me?" immediately following the discovery of the bruises that led to all the suspicion? Anyway, the bruises by themselves say what?)
Which is to say that: (a) I am a woefully naive and trusting soul, or (b) I don't play as roughly during sex as I might. Or... I dunno. (c) I've only ever slept with thick-skinned girls who don't bruise easily? |

girls arent like boyz. They bruise for nothing. That is to say, they only have to knock into the corner of a desk drawer (like the friend g/f I've been seeing lately, small bruise on her lower thigh I noticed).. and next day you have a mark..its normal, doesnt mean anything.
Come to think of it, most people don't remember how they get minor bruises-especially if they were drunk. |

| Completely off-topic, but... lastat, as much as I love that show, every time I read one of your posts I kinda, without trying, hear it as if it were coming from David's mouth. It's become very hard to take anything you say seriously... |

I just banged my left inner thigh against the sliding mouse tray on my desk, and I'm pretty sure it's going to leave a bruise.
I hope my girlfriend doesn't think I'm cheating on her, or that I've been raped! |

a bruise on each inner thigh in the same place would be enough in a court of law.
One, on only one thigh, could've been caused by just about anything. Whats the latest in this drama anyhow? Has the OP finished with her yet? |

thanks for the support and the ridicule... it makes me aware of contrasts and life and human nature... etc.
i will keep y'all posted...
i was just wondering how many of those that have responded to my post have cable TV... and how many have only high speed internet... |

Wait a minute: Inner thigh vs. lower calf muscle are TWO DIFFERENT THINGS!
Inner thigh, I would offer this: How in the world does a girl get a bruise in her INNER THIGH? The way our legs are situated, you would have to deliberately open your thighs to get that bruise. That would prove to be an interesting story. Lower calf...man.... a million different ways that definately don't bring to mind sexual violence. |

Lizara~ Rest assure that I am not a cobbler or swindler. I know, everytime you see the picture and think "Oh, it sounds like that guy from 'The office". I am quite serious on most occasions where taquila is not involved.
Come to think of it, I do have an interesting angle that goes in line with the last post mentioned by Cubanlord.
I knew a guy, a nice kind gent that was very soft spken, who was having a fling with a married flight attendant. One time she went to his place and accused him of ruining her marriage by bruising up her leg during the "run around". Everytime her husband asked what happened to her legs, she'd just shrug it off as a bruise she got while the plane was in turbulance. |
