How can I verify that the amount my employer is deducting from my pay for my pension is actually going to the pension office?
Is there some form I should have filled out, or is there a number I can call to check this out?

You can find the number to call or the location nearest you here:

If you have a Korean help you, I think you can find out what's sitting in your acct by using your alien registration number on the Korean site(don't quote me on that though). |

Is there some form I should have filled out if my employer was in fact paying my pension contributions to the pension office instead of just keeping them? |

Nope, no forms to fill out. There's a letter outlining your contributions that you're supposed to get each year, but I only ever got one in 4 years ( and got 4 years worth of contributions there) |

Are these "forms" you're referring to the registration forms? Regardless, call the number or go into one of the offices to talk to them to make sure everything's okay. If your boss hasn't registered you and hasn't been paying(you neither, at least not to the place where it should go), they can give you that info easily. If your boss is doing things honestly, the only time that you should have to apply for anything is when you leave and want to get your contributions back. |
