Hey-o,
Does anyone out there have any experience running to the South Korean Consulate in Chicago, IL.?
I want to have my university diploma notarized Ameri-style, and then notarized again the South Korean way.
Would anyone know if I need an appointment to complete this task? Or, is it acceptable to have this request completed as a 'walk-in'. ...Are 'walk-in's' even allowed?
Any information would greatly appreciated.
Thanks! |

Well, in Korea you'll need it notarized the "South Korean" way, whatever that means.
You don't need an appointment. Just bring your diploma and some photocopies of it. If you forget the photocopies, they have a copy machine there. Whether you need other IDs, I don't remember. Try calling them. Oh, and when I did it 3 years ago it was something like $2 per notarized copy. |

yeah, it's pretty efficient (by gov't/embassy standards). Just hand them your diploma, tell them what you want, good to go. Pretty easy. |
