Hamilton could well be the ass*hole of the world. Hamilton blows, kiwi high school students blow, but New Zealand doesn't blow, it's one of the most stunning places in the world.

It may be stunning in your world, but I fail to see the allure of the place. Looks like a thumbed-down version of Australia, a country that most people actually do consider stunning.

New Zealand sucks.

NEW ZEALAND SUCKS??? well do you mind explaining to us in what way new Zealand sucks?

Sure South Africa is a beautiful country to bad you guys are destroying it!! Last I heard half the population were leaving and running for their lives! and with woman like this I know why!! Laughing

you dont know what the lure is??

wow someone who didnt see LOTR.. ok..
well you wont fnd the raw beauty that NZ has anywhere else..
and you dont have to watch your back to make sure you wont get robbed down the street of Cape town or Jberg! SOUTH AFRICA IS A WAR ZONE!

and ummm NZ looks like OZ? hahahahah thats the stupidest thing I have ever heard!! NZ looks NOTHING LIKE AUSTRALIA!! one is an ISLAND and one is a continent you SPAZ!!

I was thinking of a headline more like, "Sick animal abuse case (Warning: extremely disturbing content)." Then we could choose to open up the thread if we haven't already heard enough of those stories. The existing headline forces us to read the story whether we want to or not.

But that's the headline used on the news services, the same one used by Yahoo News.
It's got nothing to do with the sensitivities of the OP.
Have some cheese to go with that fine whine.
Or perhaps, if you can't handle the internet, maybe you should step away from the computer.

And yes, those are amazing pics and I would love to visit NZ (but maybe not Hamilton).

There's no law that says you have to reproduce the headline of the story in the subject line. As I said, a warning would have been more appropriate. There's a lot of sick stuff on the Internet (as there is in life) and we don't all come to this site to have it thrown in our faces.

Nothing about the pregnant woman beating yet? Just another crazy fundamentalist.

Would you like to have something interesting and sensational happen to you?

I remember in the 90s the UN did a quality of life study which a magazine (The Economist, perhaps?) then re-tooled as an article about "The Top 100 most exiting countries in the world".
It turned out that Canada was among the top 3 most boring (or according to the article, least exiting) countries in the world (sorry but I'm Canadian so I don't recall where the US/UK/NZ/AUS stood, but I'm sure it was probably a 'by a nose' finish).

More to the point, the top countries for excitement were:
Rwanda, Haiti, Bosnia, Somalia, Liberia, Colombia...
